Heres some more pictures of our work, including before and after pictures and also some of the design pictures. This one was a complete accident. We put a little bit of decking down to put the pots on and look what was underneath waiting for the sunshine
This is decking, with LED lighting, new lawn and borders, along with a rather nice water feature.
This one shows the detail of this style of border.
Heres another picture of the same garden, showing the water feature.
Heres a nice sunny border, using reclaimed fallen trees and white spa gravel with mainly alpine plants.
Heres another view of the border, also showing the decking and stone circle. Sorry about the rusty wood burner, but it does keep you warm on chilly evenings.
Heres a "before" picture. As you can see, not that inspiring.
Heres the "after" picture. This shows a water feature with decking and artificial lawn. The customer had seen the pictures of the previous water feature garden. These borders are fitted with LED lights.
This is another "before" picture of the garden above. Note how over grown the borders were at the end of last season.
Heres another "after" picture of the garden above. As you can see the shrubs have been cut back. By the beginning of the summer these will fill out and add colour. The artificial lawn will be maintenance free for 10 years.
Heres the design that was produced for the garden above. I find the 3D pictures show how the finished garden will look better then the "top down" drawings, although my wife draws "top down" plans for planting.
Heres the garden with the patio removed and levelled ready fro the decking to go down. The ground level has been reduced to allow for the decking to be laid with weed fabric beneath and an air gap to aid air circulation.
This picture shows the construction of the decking.
